    More precisely maintenance like settings

    Hi,
I need to set sth like maintenance time, because of about 15 minutes daily backup break of some services. Now I'm getting few emails about PROBLEMs with stopped services.
I know there is solution setting maintenance period in Configuration-> Maintenance but it disables whole monitoring of given host(s) for 15 minites.
I'd like to disable monitoring of given services (processes) instead of whole host.

Is this possible? Maybe there is different functionality?

    I'm using Zabbix 2.0.

As far as I'm aware, it is not possible to put a single item in maintenance. Only entire hosts can be put in maintenance.

Zabbix has no maintenance on trigger level at present, but you can work around it quite easily.   Traditional approaches: Define time spans […]

Each user can customize the dashboard to exclude triggers that are in maintenance.
