    Monitor DNS Settings in Windows

This one is a bit odd, but I have a need to retire an old DNS server and I have to ensure that all of our servers are no longer pointing to the old DNS server. In Linux, I was able to just set up a zabbix item that looked at the /etc/resolv.conf file and then alert me if it found the "bad" IP address in it.

However, I am trying to come up with a way to accomplish the same thing on our 40+ windows 2003/2008 servers.

Anyone have any elegant ideas on how this could be accomplished?

    Thank you very much!
