Non snmp device

Hello,

I am new in zabbix and whant to know can I monitor non snmp device. In 2.0.5 version we can set host with agent, snmp, jmx amd apmi interfaces, but how can I add host with non of these interfaces ?? I only need to monitor icmp requests.

1. Add an "agent" interface. Don't worry, it won't actually need the agent.

2. Add a "simple check" item for icmpping to the host. It will use the information for the "agent" interface to do the ping.
