Hello,
I was wondering how to "fix" (edit by hand) stored values of several items.
I'd like not to loose other history, only to to level or zero out the spikes introduced by change items' SNMP OIDs from ifInOctets/ifOutOctets to ifHCInOctets/ifHCOutOctets.
Recently we've changed speed of some of our internet links and 32-bit SNMP counters became too small. So, I've changed items' OIDs to 64-bit counters. Unfortunately I didn't reset SNMP counters before, so items that stored values as delta/speed recorded short, very high spikes in traffic on that change. This of course clutters graphs (even those for long periods, like month), making them virtually useless.
Will it be enough just to edit stored items' values, or seeking and editing through other things (trends, graphs etc.) will be necessary?
