Windows filesystem discovery (mount point)

I have a Windows 2008 server with a few filesystems, one of which is mounted in a folder. Turns out that filesystem discovery finds the filesystems with a drive letter just fine, but doesn't find the filesystem that's mounted in a folder (which doesn't have a drive letter associated with it).

Now, I can add a drive letter to this filesystem, but is there a way for this to work just with the mount point as a folder?
