    Email only once on actions

    How would I go about configuring to only email once when an action is fired ? After the email is sent to pagerduty, it will take over re-sending and escalations based on the oncall schedule.

    Currently, it keeps sending them every few minutes and I can't seem to find where to configure it.

    That is configures in the action that is generating the alerts. In the operations section you can specify multiple steps. steps can also run infinitely and resend alerts however often you like (or don't like in your case).

      This is what I have been trying. I set the duration to 3600 for testing but still get messages every few minutes.

        Do you have more than one action? Is it possible more than one action is applying to the triggers? Also, could you post screenshots of all parts of the action configuration screen?

          Turns out the problem was in my trigger. I was checking the last value and the item I was checking was flapping.
