Change default time-period of Graphs

Hi,

how can i change de default time-period in our graphs. At the moment the time-period is 1hour - but we want to display all our Graphs with de default of 12 hour or 24 hour.

for graphs set period value in file charts.php equal 43200 or 86400 (in seconds)
by default this value equal 3600.
for zabbix 1.1 line number is 66
