Zabbix_server 1.1 crashes after snmptraps recieved

System
FreeBSD 5.14, mysql 4.1.20, zabbix 1.1

i have setuped snmptrap forward to zabbix. (according to documentation and readings in this forum).

snmptraps "Type of information" configured as log.
when i tried to change to text it is ok. No crashes.

fragments from snmptrap.sh script:

$ZABBIX_SENDER $ZABBIX_SERVER $ZABBIX_PORT $HOST $KEY \'"$str"\'

i have tried even simple request from command line:
zabbix_sender localhost 10051 snmptraps snmptraps test
zabbix_server went down again...

maybe someone hade the same problems with zabbix 1.1 or FreeBSD.
I need to findout if it is Zabbix or FreeBSD problem.
Has someone setuped snmptraps on zabbix 1.1 ?? how it works?

I had the same problem

The server went down and i run it again and it works.

I use a pl program instead of the snmptrap script.
