    Zabbix Server died

    Hello all!

I have problem, I run Zabbix server (2.0.2) on XenServer VM (CentOS 6.2) with 1 vCPU and 2 GB of RAM.

Problem is when I start Zabbix server, RAM usage is about 500 MB, after few hours RAM usage grow up and after RAM is full, SWAP memory goes full too, so system just kill one Zabbix child and Zabbix server goes down. One of Zabbix server childs grows up to about 43 MB of RAM is that normal? I create script who check Zabbix is running or not, but if that kind of problem occurs then maybe problem is somewhere in configuration? Maybe someone had that kind of problem and can share with experience?

Number of values processed per second I got 1.82, so there isn't so big usage of VPS.

    Thanks.

This is probably not the answer you are looking for, but I would first try upgrading to 2.0.5 and see if it gives you the same issue. Another thing that could be helpful to look at is the number of pollers you have (if you changed them at all). If you're only collecting around 2 values per second, then the default values in the configuration is probably fine.
