Web monitoring of external sites

Hey

If I want to Web monitor a external site like www.google.com, what should I fill-in for the host. The host want a portnumber for the agent?

What are the best practice of monitoring external webs? Should I create a host for each site?

i did similar - and just created a host for these type of things.


Web checks are run from the zabbix server anyhow's so you can use that host if necessary.
