I am using zabbix-2.0.5 through tarball installation. I have configured zabbix to monitor local and remote system for parameters like cpu utilization, number of processes and so on.
Recently, i came through mikoomi's apache hadoop plugin and i configured as per the given instruction like importing the template and adding macros. But when i view the graph, it shows no data like other graphs. (For your information, i have web monitoring enabled and have used it to monitor hadoop namenode web ui and others). How do i make it to collect data.
Note: When i run the shell script provided on command line, i have to provide a discard value along with hostname (localhost), port (50070) and zabbix name (ZabbixNamenode) values as i have given in zabbix. This creates a output file in tmp folder with all metrics for monitoring. But why cant i receive data in zabbix web ui.
