Guest should only see Maps menu

    Hi,

I am new to zabbix world. I was wondering is it possible to configure Zabbix in a manner where Admin user can see/access all menu's while guest user can see only "Maps" in Zabbix menu while hiding all other menu's.

Your help is very much appreciated. Thanks !!!!

You cannot partially hide the menu from users, as you described.
But, providing the correct permissions for user, you can restrict the list of the information which he can sees. Details you can find here

Or you can give users url to the correct screen with parameters "fullscreen=1":
    http://localhost/zabbix/maps.php?ddreset=1&sid=<map_uniq_sid>&fullscreen=1
although this does not guarantee that the user will not guess to change it.

the url idea was awesome but unfortunately that will not server my purpose. I was under the impression that if edit some php files, i might be able to customize the screen

I agree that disabling the menu for guest account would be nice.

Since it's not doable, I will give access to zabbix through sharepoint and "cut" the upper-side of the Zabbix-URL.

Of course having the option to hide it directly in Zabbix would be way more efficient. Version 2.3 ?

          Thank you simonquentel.

I really wish if zabbix could add this feature on their next release
