change agent type with host macro

    Hi,
it's possbile to change from default template snmpv2 agent to snmpv1 agent using macro on host?

or the only way is to create a custom template?

    No, you can't.

    Yes.

P.S.: do I understand correctly that you want to change the type of the item (SNMPv2 agent -> SNMPv1 agent)? But is there a need for this? I thought that SNMPv1 agent responds to the zabbix item with type "SNMPv2 agent".

i also clone the snmpv2 template to create snmpv1 template and manually i modify each agent type.
