Zabbix-agent 2.0.6 on Ubuntu 9.10

As you may have read in the title. I want to install the zabbix-agent 2.0.6 on an Ubuntu 9.10 and 10.04 server. In the download section there are pre-compiled packages for Linux 2.6, which is used by 9.10 and 10.04.
So I geussed it should be ok, or am I completely wrong on this?
I've tried to install it and everything seems to be working ok.

You should be fine. It is based on the kernel version.
But if you ever need to compile an agent, it is extremely simple.
