    1 clientserver 2 zabbix clients

    We have a server that is managed by a hostingprovider.
    They use zabbix for monitoring.

    We also have zabbix for our monitoring and we want to monitor the performance of that server to.

    Is it possible to run 2 zabbix clients on 1 server? or is it possible to read out 1 zabbix client with 2 servers?

    Thnx

    Both is possible:
    1) You can run two zabbix_agent on different ports
    2) for 1 zabbix_agent for 2 zabbix_servers you should allow both servers in config.(BUT it possible for passive agent only)

      that is good news!
      Thnx

      do I need to mention the server twice at one row or two rows?
      so,
      This
      Server=127.0.0.1 127.0.0.2

      or
      Server=127.0.0.1
      Server=127.0.0.2

      Thanks in advance

        Correct will be Server=127.0.0.1,127.0.0.2
        from documentation
        List of comma delimited IP addresses (or hostnames) of Zabbix servers. No spaces allowed.
        Incoming connections will be accepted only from the hosts listed here.
        Note that hostnames must resolve hostname→IP address and IP address→hostname.
        If IPv6 support is enabled then '127.0.0.1', '::127.0.0.1', '::ffff:127.0.0.1' are treated equally.
        Also for active zabbix_agent you should use ServerActive option

          I searched and I looked at the documentation but didn't look good I guess.
