    Monitor CPU utilization in linux

    Hello All,

I have to receive email when CPU utilization is more than 90% for 3 mins on linux servers (CentOS)

Please tell me the exact item and trigger values for this requirement.

I'm new to zabbix so please help me on this . Thanks in advance

    Regards,
    Mohan

Would recommend starting from a default "Template OS Linux" which comes with zabbix 2.0. If necessary, you can always correct it.

After that, you can create calculated item with Formula 100-last("system.cpu.util[,idle]") and key "total_cpu_utilization". Then configure trigger with trigger expression {SERVER:total_cpu_utilization.last(3m)}>90.

I have created the below trigger and its working fine.

      {Hostname:system.cpu.util[,user].last(3m)}>90
