    Monitoring Printer Toner?

    So back in the day when I first heard of Zabbix all these website were saying that you could monitor the amount of paper left in a printer. How about monitoring how much toner is left in the printer. This would be much more useful due to the fact that I have to send toner out to remote locations when they run out. Any ideas?!?!

      If you are talking about HP printers connected to the lan with jetdirect printservers, then SNMP is your friend.

          That is exactly what I'm talking about... Could you help me out with some of the item setup. Maybe a link to some documentation? I am having problems with finding a key in the manual.
