Automatic Discovery

Hello,
I found a thread on the forum board in which zabbix announced basic automatic discovery in version 1.1.
What about this feature ? I can't find anything around and in the documentation.

i also have totally no idea and i think that a good manual is the less of their worries.
it's also just this one of the open-source products i know that you can't download a good manual (1.1).
