Hello, new to Zabbix. Have a question about SNMP Bandwith Monitoring.

Just finished a hectic install after an hour and a few reinstalls later

Anyways, how would I go about monitoring a router that has SNMP installed and is using SNMP v1/2c and a community string of "public".

I am fairly new to Zabbix and I'm very confused.

If you installed zabbix 2.0 you should already have some prebuilt templates to monitor snmp devices.

Add your device in the host section with the appropriate ip address in the snmp section.

Add the relevant templates in the templates section (e.g. Template snmp device).

The default community is already public so you should be good to go
