Limit on Log file Monitoring

Is there a limit of how many log files per host Zabbix 2.0 can monitor and parse for error conditions in those file

I have around 100 servers 5 to 6 log per server to be parsed for specical keywords and patterns - all are running zabbix agents

Do i need to need any extra precaution of the number of zabbix pollers or it only matters with the number of CPU and memory the server has

I think not. Everything will depend on the performance of a particular server (CPU, disks). I can recommend you to adjust the monitoring of internal processes of zabbix and if possible, use the "log" key (rather than "logrt").

We are planning to do only log file monitoring from some servers

others metrics like cpu , memory are turned off

in that case is there a limit of number of log files zabbix can monitor
