url monitoring.

Hi ,

I have installed zabbix 2.0.6 i want to monitor zabbix some official urls,
eg:-www.ibm.com (when ever that link is down we need an alert by mail )
Kindly help me what kind of settings or procedure to setup the urs monitoring...

1) you need to configure web-monitoring;
2) you need to configure trigger;
3) you need to configure action.

I tried but its happening , it not monitor our company web site,

in this no user name and password is not require , just i want to monitor wheather this website .

Check url with curl utility:
curl http://server_name.com
