Database growing - How to change Database after a serveral time

Hi Zabbix Community,

I´ am searching for a workaround, to change the Zabbix database after a month.
Our Database grows fast, so we plan to create a monthly report of the data and delete the old data.
Then we want to start with a new DB for the next month.

Use someone this kind "Database-Rotation" ? How do you realise this?

I would be good if someone could translate the russian page in english .
I see that they are talking about partitioning even with mysql on zabbix 2.0 !
I would really love to do that on my zabbix installation.

I have been looking into the same thing around partitioning in mysql for zabbix2.0.
I have come across the following github link i believe may help.

This is taken from the original work a couple of sources and put into one setup. I like the idea and currently playing with it in my dev setup.

I am not a dba but learning, so far it doesn't appear to have broken anything.

I like the way that the wiki in russian is using MySQL event in place of cronjob.
In fact I like to think that my database server is handling everything !
It is why I would love to see this translated.
