SNMP detection via remote agent on different network

Hi Chaps

I need to graph some snmp data at a different site and we have no VPN connection between our Zabbix server and the remote site.

Is it possible to use the remote zabbix agent at the remote site to do the snmp monitoring and have it send the snmp data back to the zabbix server for graphing and alerting?

Anyone? I guess that you can do detection with the agent and only with a new install at each location?
