    Dependant hosts behaviour

    Hi,

because I have a lot of nodes in my network, I had to add dependacies between nodes to keep dashboard clean in case of some problem (I don't want to display problem notifications of nodes which are dependant on ones higher in hierarchy). Unfortunately, dependant hosts don't change their status when the superior node has problem, so on maps I get:

, it's not a big deal, everyone using those map are aware that if there is a problem with MDF C, there is a problem with IDFs and CPs as well, but I guess it isn't as it should be.

Is there a way (maybe, by changing something in .php files) to change a behaviour of dependancies? Where can it be done?

The dependant hosts could change their status to unkonwn or maintenace in cas of problem, so I wouldn't get this hosts displayed in dashboard, but on a map I/d get somtehing like this:

    Thanks a lot.
