multi-server mode?

can i run Zabbix in Multiserver-Mode?
I want to use 4 Servers on different locations for reliability.

On the forum, i found a patch for zabbix-1.1beta1, which is too old to be used at all with recent sources.

I read the source, and i note only the part of conf is patched (Server = XX), but there aren't any other modification on source (serverid, etc ..).

This projet is dead ?

The project is not dead. It is very likey that this functionality will be part of ZABBIX roadmap of the next release.
