I’ve used preconfigured Zabbix Virtual machine for a while but finally decide to install production one. Installation completed successfully but now I have problems with active agents on servers (I don’t use passive). All installed agents do not report to new server (not appearing in discovered hosts group) and in server logs I can see error “Cannot send list of active checks to [x.x.x.x]: host [NAME] not found”.
I just wander what I missed? What are conditions for active agent shows in Discovered hosts? Any configuration which needs to be done on zabbix for active agents? Any problems with zabbix host name? What name must much which one? I linux server name? Server host name in Zabbix, host name in zabbix configuration file, host name in agent?
