Zabbix Active Checks shows red Zabbix availability icon for host

I have hosts that are not reachable from the Zabbix server but the hosts can communicate and send data to the Zabbix server.

I copied the default OS template and mass updated the items to "Agent Active". I added hosts that meet the scenario above to this newly created "Active Agent" template.

All is working well, however, I see that the Zabbix Agent Availability "Z" icon is red.

1) Since data is being received by the server from the Zabbix agent, is there a way I can modify a value in the zabbix server so that when the agent is sending data, the Zabbix Availability "Z" icon for the host is green?

2) Also, if/when data is not being received from the host, I can modify a setting to set the "Z" icon to red?

you probably still have some passive item there (lld rule ? prototype ? )
