Disable History - Web GUI

I am a new zabbix user and I was wondering if there is any way to disable the "History" function visible in web gui. It is driving me crazy :S

Edit: Sorry, forgot to mention, zabbix 2.0.7 running on debian 7.1.0.

What "History" function are you talking about? Are you talking about the trends (aggregated data)?

You can set the amount of days that Zabbix should keep the complete history of an item. Anything older than that threshold will be aggregated to trends.
