Does anyone have a good method for handling dependencies on triggers that were created from trigger prototypes using the low level discovery?
Specifically, how can I handle creating dependencies between networking devices who's interfaces were discovered using "Template SNMP Interfaces" low level discovery?
The best I came up with is to create an individual template for each subnet that has a dependent host, then modify the prototype to include the dependency. Unfortunately, it appears that trigger prototypes don't have the ability to create dependencies.
If it was possible, that wouldn't be horrible, but it would require creating about 50 more templates, in my situation.
Is there a better solution that anyone has found? At this point it would almost be easier to just not use the low level discovery and build each host by hand.
