Monitoring https and use mulitple IP adresses

Hello Everybody

I began my work on Zabbix a week ago. And I just have Two tiny questions

Is it possible to monitor a HTTPS service ? (with another thing than check_port[ip,443] or is it the solution ?)

Then Is it possible to affect multiple IP adresses to a host ?

ps: I use Zabbix 1.1 alpha5

Hi,

I didn't test check_port[ip,443], but if you get response is ok, you can check it from View->Latest data menu.
At the Zabbix manual you have a SSL library as optinal request, maybe you can need it.

You can check it but adding to the host list some host names (example: host1ip1, host1ip2,..., host1ipX) and check one by one. You can grouping the host names in IT Services and get the status of all.

wouah that will give me a big big list of hosts but if there no other solution let's go !
