Mail flow checker

Is there a zabbix addon that anyone knows of that will allow me to test mail flow by sending an email to an SMTP host then checking an IMAP or POP mailbox for that email, then graph the response time?

I am looking for a similar solution but my requirement is slightly different.

I want a script to send a mail to a mailbox with a forward or out of office that returns that mail to Zabbix, Zabbix should then report on the total time for the mail to be send and returned.
