Old question, but for future reference:

Use Zabbix Agent with this key:

system.run["c:\Windows\System32\cscript.exe /nologo c:\Windows\System32\slmgr.vbs /xpr"]

gives a textual output of the slmgr.vbs script (normally part of windows) that can be parsed by a trigger
eg. when not contains "permanently activated".
