Hello Zabbix-Comminity,
as you can tell from my nickname i'm a new Zabbix-user and try to build up a monitoring for our small business.
Right at the moment we've got a problem, which needs to be solved quickly. I thought this might be a problem, which i can probabely solve with Zabbix:
We need to grab files from an external FTP-Server and import them to our systems. The files need to be importet within a certain time to keep the production-cycle. Sometimes the ftp-transfer fails and the import stops without noticing the admin (this happens and cannot be resolved). So i need something that opens the ftp and checks for files that are older than xx minutes and sends me a mail if files older than xx minutes exist.
Any ideas if and how i could do this in Zabbix - maybe with some kind of script or using included functions?
If anybody could point me the way to a solution it would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot for your suggestions!
