    Zabbix Monitor Windows RAM usage

    I'm trying to monitor amount of physical memory usage on a windows server. units in percentage. anyone has any idea how to go about it.

    i'm currently using perf_counter[\Memory\% Committed Bytes In Use]

    But i believe it is total memory commit, which include virtual memory (page files)

    I use the native function of Zabbix agent for that.

      No, it doesn't need to be active agent for it to work.

      Note that it is pused and not paused.

      "pused" = percent used.
      "pfree" = percent free.

        I should also state that the syntax and options vary depending on what version of Zabbix you are using.

        For 2.x, you can click this link and then search the page for "vm.memory.size" which will show you all possible options:

        For 1.8.x you can do the same for this link:

          Hi tchjts1,

          Thank you so much for the info, yes i noticed shortly after.

          pused, and i have implemented and also confirmed it is actual RAM used instead of RAM + Paging file.

          Thank you so much for your help.

            How to create trigger

            Hello,

            Can anyone let me know how to create trigger for RAM usage if it runs above 95% for 15 minutes, it should change the status to DOWN. I am using below trigger, but it seems it is not working as expected as I am getting frequent UP and DOWN alerts.

            vm.memory.size[pused].avg(15m)}>95

            Thanks
