distributed monitoring user permissions

just installed zabbix 2.0.8 on two nodes (1 master, 1 child).
everything is working fine except one thing.
i am trying to create some users which should have read-only access to the child node from the master node. unfortunately this is not working. with the default admin user i can see everything on both master and child nodes.
with the new user, i couldn't find any way to do this. all i can see is the master node. i have tried everything - even created exact copy of the default admin user (same group, permissions etc), no success.

any hint what could be wrong?

i'm afraid this will be some kind of bug. there is not much to configure in the GUI.

could please someone confirm that in case of a distributed setup (master - child nodes), after creation of some new user with the same permissions and user group as the default "admin" user, you are not able to see the child node from the master node on the dashboard?

just found it, you have to click on the "select nodes" button first and select the nodes you want to have access to
