Help please. I have a problem creating a simple check to see di hosts are up and down

On a Windows host server I get:



The funny thing is that it is with all my Host ipv4.

You should enable IPv6 support to use IPv6 family address for SourceIP

Just setup a trigger on the agent.ping item to see if the host is up or down.
The only times when it should give you an incorrect alert is when the zabbix-agent service is stopped or blocked by a firewall.

I'm really not sure why you're getting that IPv6 issue. Perhaps you should specify the SourceIP= setting in the Zabbix Server configuration like they've mentioned in this thread: https://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11799

Alternatively disable IPv6 on your server and see if that fixes your issue.
