New to the forum and I need some help with SNMPv3 and Zabbix.
I´m struggling with getting Zabbix to fetch data from my company´s primary Software which have been configured for SNMPv3.
I can snmpwalk company software server from the monitoring server with auth/SNMPv3 and get a large list of supported items and the templates have been verified in another system that I´ve not setup but somehow its not working from my own Zabbix server.
I´ve set debug log level to 4 but I cannot distinguish any attempts of Zabbix to communicate with our software server with the specfici items. However standard Solaris Agent template is working good.
Any ideas on how to progress from here ?
The auth is working and no firewall is blocking the traffic.
Can I somehow force Zabbix to perform a snmpget for a specific item and check the result/logging for this specific event ?
