    Macros in graph names

    Hello all!

    Is there a way to include macros in to graph names? I am testing this but without success... I create graphs with LLD. Zabbix is 2.0.8.

    Thanks.

    It is included in 2.2.x releases, but not in 2.0.x.

          According to that doc it is supported:
          http://www.zabbix.com/rn2.2.0.php

          :: Processing of macros
          Implemented support of user macros in global scripts, script confirmation text, trigger comments and allowed hosts for trapper items. Complex macros like {host:key.last/min/avg/max()} supported in graph titles. Implemented new notification macros: {ITEM.STATE<1-9>}, {LLDRULE.ID}, {LLDRULE.NAME}, {LLDRULE.DESCRIPTION}, {LLDRULE.KEY}, {LLDRULE.STATE} and {TRIGGER.STATE}.

            Read in detail here: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ed_by_location

            The only macro supported in the graph name is something like: {host:key.func(param)}

            AFAIK, user macros were not targeted for support in 2.2

              Thanks guys!

              Yeah, only like {host:key.func(param)}.
              But there is one issue too. If I want to display in graph names item value (for example, ifAlias object from IF-MIB), then in long names it didn't display it in full length.

                That seems to me a poor implementation. I was expecting some major improvements here. Too bad.
