Same template for dual core and quad-core servers

    Hi,

I have a template, witch includes a trigger for high load.
    ex: {www.zabbix.com:system.cpu.load[all,avg1].last(0)}>5

Can you help me please, i want to apply same template to servers with dual-core and quad-core. How can i build a trigger for high load in this situation.

    Regards,
    Mihai

        hi,

you can do a second check, which collects the count of CPUs (system.cpu.num)
based on this you can create a trigger like:
        {www.zabbix.com:system.cpu.load[all,avg1].last(0)}>{www.zabbix.com:system.cpu.num.last(0)}* 2
        or something like this.

        i hope this helps

A LLD rule which detects the number of CPUs and autocreates your items will definitely help.
