First let me apologize if this has been discussed elsewhere.
I have two templates. The first includes a discovery of a resource on the agent and 3 discovery items.
The second links the first and then adds some additional items to the discovery items. It works fine. I use the simple template for most systems, and the extended template when I am looking for more details on a specific host.
The problem is that I am bringing up a new server and tried exporting these two templates for importing on the new system. The template export says it finished without error. However, when I look at the exported xml, none of the extended items were included.
Has anyone else seen this?
