    Gauge32 and graphs

First and most important; I have a Cisco device that with snmpwalk and snmpget I can discover the OID needed to view the Chassis Temp. The data type reported is Gauge32 (from a quick search this is an unsigned int), but I see no way to enter that type of data in Zabbix and using the current int type is not working. Any suggestions as to what I could try or do differently?

The second thing; I'm looking to see how Zabbix is creating it's graphs so that I could try to incorporate graphs that would allow for quick viewing and interpretation (ie mabey a gauge or thermometer). If this has already been done please direct me to the proper location so that I may learn how to implement this.

    Thanks in advance!

One other problem now. I was using my maps and graphs with no trouble. After adding some custom icons and backgrounds to some maps I will have the maps and graphs not want to load. Some of the webpages even have to be reloaded to get them viewed. Suggestions?

Don't add other problems to your thread, start a new one.

Well I can say that after reinstalling Zabbix the map and chassis temp problem no longer exist. So if someone can just show me if there is a way to use a graph such as a thermometer or gauge I would really appreciate it.

Did you reinstall everything or just recompile the app and reinstall without touching the database?

I wiped the database, recompiled everything. Then recreated the database using the provided sql files and copied the conf and binaries to their respective locations. Basically as if it had never been in place to begin with.

I will suggest that as you rework the monitored items that you only select those you will want to use and add later as you find items you missed because I believe that is what helped me.

Did you add back the custom icons or images and if so did it break again? I also found if you add more than 6 items to a custom graph it breaks that graph.

I moved my custom images to the same folder as the stock icons and images and so far with more than six on one map it is still working. The only thing I haven't done yet is add back the background I wanted.
