Help on install

I have followed the directions to install Zabbix to a T, I have just finished compiling it. After compiling it, the documentation says:

# 8. Configure /etc/zabbix/zabbix_agent.conf

I cannot find that file anywhere. It looks like zabbix didn't get installed to the default location? I am running Fedora5, could that be a problem?

I appreciate your help.

The same happened to me. You can create those paths and copy the files to /etc... as well as placing the binaries in the folders mentioned in the manual.

Hi

/etc/zabbix folder not creating by the "make install".
You have to create manually and copy "zabbix-1.1/misc/conf" folder files from sources into it and edit all needed parameters.
