SNMP Active Checks

Hi Everyone,

I wasn't able to find any posts on this...

Is it possible to have active checks via SNMP? I have a hosted Zabbix server, and zabbix agents on a private network. Zabbix Checks work for some templates i modified, such as "Template OS Linux" pulls through the correct hostname etc... But i didn't figure out how to do this via SNMP. So the agent can pull SNMP info from hosts on the private network, and push that info to the server.

Any tips?

Not possible by SNMP protocol definition.
