    VMware status value map!

    Hello,

    since the update to 2.2.1 i have a problem with the vmware template import.

    ERROR: Import failed
    Created: Application "Clusters" on "Template Virt VMware".
    Created: Application "General" on "Template Virt VMware".
    Created: Application "Log" on "Template Virt VMware".
    Created: Item "Event log" on "Template Virt VMware".
    Created: Item "Full name" on "Template Virt VMware".
    Created: Item "Version" on "Template Virt VMware".
    Created: Discovery rule "Discover VMware clusters" on "Template Virt VMware".
    Created: Discovery rule "Discover VMware hypervisors" on "Template Virt VMware".
    Created: Discovery rule "Discover VMware VMs" on "Template Virt VMware".
    Cannot find value map "VMware status" used for item prototype "Status of "$2" cluster" of discovery rule "Discover VMware clusters" on "Template Virt VMware".

    Can someone show me the right value maps (VMware VirtualMachinePowerState,VMware status) ? I need it for the import. A screenshot or a list are enough.

    for example:

    0 = Ok
    1 = not ok

      i found that in data.sql script from 2.2 source package. :

      PHP Code:
      INSERT INTO `valuemaps` (`valuemapid`,`name`) values ('13','VMware status');
      INSERT INTO `valuemaps` (`valuemapid`,`name`) values ('12','VMware VirtualMachinePowerState');

      INSERT INTO `mappings` (`mappingid`,`valuemapid`,`value`,`newvalue`) values ('72','12','0','poweredOff');
      INSERT INTO `mappings` (`mappingid`,`valuemapid`,`value`,`newvalue`) values ('73','12','1','poweredOn');
      INSERT INTO `mappings` (`mappingid`,`valuemapid`,`value`,`newvalue`) values ('74','12','2','suspended');
      INSERT INTO `mappings` (`mappingid`,`valuemapid`,`value`,`newvalue`) values ('75','13','0','gray');
      INSERT INTO `mappings` (`mappingid`,`valuemapid`,`value`,`newvalue`) values ('76','13','1','green');
      INSERT INTO `mappings` (`mappingid`,`valuemapid`,`value`,`newvalue`) values ('77','13','2','yellow');
      INSERT INTO `mappings` (`mappingid`,`valuemapid`,`value`,`newvalue`) values ('78','13','3','red');

          Here is a fix https://www.zabbix.com/forum/showpos...41&postcount=4

          Create value maps manually and import templates in correct order.

            The above SQL works great.
            I copy the above codes and and login to the console and type the following commandj.sql is the above SQL statement)

            mysql -u root -p zabbix < j.sql

            Then import the Template_Virt_Vmware_Guest, Hypervisor and lastly Template_Virt_VMware-2.2.0.xml

            Thank you very much for your tip.

            Frank

              The SQLs above may be not success for some cases.
              Find a note and a link on https://www.zabbix.com/documentation.../vm_monitoring how to resolve it correctly.
