    Newbie help much appreciated

    Good morning,

I recently installed Zabbix on Debian 7 (Wheezy) clean install no desktop environment and ssh server only. Followed the Zabbix documentation and everything is up and running with a nice clean 2.2.1 front end.

Now the painful part. I am simply looking to monitor the total data usage on several UBNT endpoints. This appears to be a much bigger issue then I could have expected. It appears the problems is with the dynamic MIBs but to be honest I have no idea. I have scoured the forum here looking for templates and was unable to find what I am looking for. If someone could point me in the right direction I would be extremely grateful.

    Data usage ?

    Hi,

What do you mean by monitoring the data usage ?
    Network traffic ?
You can use the "Template SNMP interface" for that..

    Thierry.

Hi Thanks for the reply. What I am actually looking for is the total amount data used over a given time to run reports against. I don't believe this is the same as data traffic but I could be wrong. In using some of the UBNT templates and scripts I have found I am able to track the WLAN rate but not traffic.
