zabbix_get command works but GUI indicates unsupported key

    Hi all,
after installing systemd monitoring for Zabbix on a host,i'm able to retrieve the info with a zabbix_get command from the server.
attempting to insert the key into the GUI results in "Key unsupported"

    user@zabbix-server:~# zabbix_get -s host -p 10050 -k systemd.service.info[openlava]

    Hi, ergo18!

It is hard to conclude which values you have selected in item configuration cause in information provided there are all options available.
Do you have a real IP address configured in your host field?

Please provide more eye catching screenshot

      Hi aigars.kadikis,

thank you for looking into this.
this is my first attempts with Zabbix and im trying to build on the work of someone who already left and learn on the fly
i need to monitor service that is set as systemd so i've installed the "zabbix-module-systemd" module
from what i could figure out, it is set to use DNS as the hosts are set by their name rather their IP

please see attached screen shots to clear our settings and my atempt to create a new item

      thanks

Look on your host interface address. It is 0.0.0.0. 0.0.0.0 it is special address used on the host and it means any address which is configured on the host (in this case on the host where is running zabbix server).

          thanks for the response kloczek,

i'm using the same settings as other Items that are configured and work.

ive created 2 items for systemd module (for linux) and while one seems to be working, the other one shown as unsupported key.

              Hi, ergo18!

It looks like you are using active checks only. Your set of screenshot really gives some context.
I believe if you switched systemd.service.info[openlava] item type from "Zabbix Agent" to "Zabbix Agent (active)" then it can work.
              Fingers crossed!

Once you selected the type to be "Zabbix Agent (active)" you need to wait ~60 seconds for the changes to sync to the database. Then you need to restart zabbix agent:
              systemctl restart zabbix-agent
After restarting zabbix-agent the value should come to the server instantly.

              Regards,
              Aigars

                hi Aigars,

seems that it is now working.
when i recreated the key in one of the attempts to make it work, i missed the d of systemd (in the example screenshots) but even after i corrected the key name it didnt work.
i had to restart zabbix-server and only then the key was enabled.

at least it is now working.

                thanks for your help.
