Syslog in CEF and LEEF formats

I am trying to monitor a server which is very tightly secured.
Actually the only way to get some monitoring data is to activate a syslog export option, but this only supports the formats CEF (Common Event Format) and LEEF (Log Event Extended Format).

Is there a way to collect this data in Zabbix?

I am running Zabbix version 3.4.4

Did you ever figure this out? I'm running a Zabbix Server on a AZURE Cloud VM with Zabbix Proxies at multiple locations. I'd like to do syslog monitoring on some remote devices such as ATAs, routers, etc.
