i succesfully installed zabbix on a Server with ubuntu 12.04. I also installed the Agent to monitor the Zabbix Server. Now i want to monitor the vsftpd application and check if its running and if not send an email to me. But I dont get it. I made tutorials, but still have no clue how to monitor application with zabbix. Is there a tutorial out which is more beginner friendly? Or can somone explain it to me?
