    No active checks

    Trying to set up a proxy I got logs

    on proxy
    proxy log: cannot send list of active checks to [192.168.99.132]: host [SRV-LAB-TRY-01] not found

    on host that I intend to monitor
    agent log: no active checks on server [192.168.99.127:10051] host [SRV-LAB-TRY-01] not found

    I have some host configured without proxy and they work well.

    I didn't notice this error: " failed to update local proxy configuration copy: invalid field name "items.jmx_endpoint" , because of this error I figured out the mistakes. Proxy and Server were different versions

      do you have any "zabbix agent (active)" items configured on this host ar all items are still "zabbix agent" (passive) items?

        Active items.
        I couldn't monitor using proxy because of version incompatibility between server and proxy. Now I fixed by updating the proxy.

          What was your process for updating the proxy? I ran into the same problem on a new install using this package; zabbix-release_3.4-1+stretch_all.deb which I thought was the most recent.
