I'm trying to create host discovery rules, based on HTTP response. I've seen in documentation it can be done by using zabbix agent and SNMP, but don't see for HTTP(s).
Can't install zabbix agents on hosts that I'm monitoring, because they are appliances, but I can create host discovery and link it to the template which contains low level discovery rules.
So i would be great if I can connect to the http api (api version output) of appliance to distinguish hosts based on http response of discovery host rule.
I can write script of my own, that will scan subnet, parse output and create hosts using zabbix api, but I'm trying to avoid that (extra scripts)
So any help would be great.
